Looking to the past Its amazing how looking at simple things remind you of so much in the past.  The process of a billion little neurons firing in synchronization just for a glimpse of the past just seems absolutely amazing to me.  Going thru some of my old papers and works that I did back in high school….which feels crazy that it was 3 years ago.  But I came across my sonnet I did in my adv. English class…and to this day I absolutely love it: a seed sets forth the motion to create, a chance to start over from a clean slate. Life’s harvested from what seems impractical, but bets are broke and life breaks from its shackle. Green glimpses grow to insurmountable height, and through harsh seasons life continues the fight. By and by thought creates its own demise, and multiple sides lack the will to comply. As fronts clash and the masses collide, thoughts are drowned and hell rains from the sky. Destruction advances on wings of pestilence, and death brings subtle waves of acceptance. And from the hands of heavenly fate, a seed sets forth the motion to create. It gives me goosebumps every time I read it. 3/4/10

Looking to the past

Its amazing how looking at simple things remind you of so much in the past.  The process of a billion little neurons firing in synchronization just for a glimpse of the past just seems absolutely amazing to me.  Going thru some of my old papers and works that I did back in high school….which feels crazy that it was 3 years ago.  But I came across my sonnet I did in my adv. a seed sets forth the motion to create,
a chance to start over from a clean slate.
Life’s harvested from what seems impractical,
but bets are broke and life breaks from its shackle.

Green glimpses grow to insurmountable height,
and through harsh seasons life continues the fight.
By and by thought creates its own demise,
and multiple sides lack the will to comply.

As fronts clash and the masses collide,
thoughts are drowned and hell rains from the sky.
Destruction advances on wings of pestilence,
and death brings subtle waves of acceptance.

And from the hands of heavenly fate,
a seed sets forth the motion to create.

It gives me goosebumps every time I read it.
